Well, that’s a heck of a way to find out you might be losing your job…
It’s almost better to have your manager tell you to hit the road than to deal with the uncertainty that this woman is going through.
She noticed that her job is listened as open online…and now she’s freaking out a bit.
Take a look at what she’s dealing with, and see what you think.
Well, I’m probably getting fired.
“Got a notice on Indeed that the company I work for posted my position 16 days ago.
Crazy thing is that the store I work at opened its doors on June 16.
She’s a bit worried about this…
They gave me less than a month.
I know that sales are not hitting what they want but again we have barely been open and the company refuses to advertise.
For more context, the first week we opened they wanted us to make over $10,000 and we barely hit $4,000. This week (week 6 I believe) they want over $13,000.
She thinks this is unrealistic.
I keep telling my boss that we are too new to be hitting the sales they want and to wait til Christmas (we have a very gift orientated store).
Guess I’m going back to job hunting.
I really liked this job, too.”
