Man’s Neighbor Won’t Stop Making Noise With His Truck, But The Police Haven’t Done Anything Even After Multiple Complaints

Well, every situation is different, but you better believe that you’re gonna be in for a rough ride if the police can’t or won’t do anything about horrible neighbors who are making your life a nightmare.

Crazy neighbor Sheriff makes it worse.
“I always had a decent relationship with my neighbor but recently they have been using a tuned and deleted straight piped diesel truck to make my life hell.
I generally helped them out a lot but simply asked if they’d “mind parking the truck more centrally on their property or turned around”. That’s loose, not verbatim.
The following I didn’t say on the call but is important for context.

Because it was really loud and they would fire it up on weekends at around 4-5 am (breaking noise code) when they had other vehicles with no reason to use the diesel.
They cussed me out and then sent threatening texts basically, mess around and find out, if I did anything to report it.
To which I didn’t respond but it’s key to mention that the neighbor states they would use the truck in this manner and if we didn’t like it f us basically. Which is essentially stating they are going to do this specifically to bother us.
These people are total jerks!
Now it has become persistent even on weekdays and everyone in the house loses sleep because the truck is started right next to our property line at 4-5 am.
We moved a boat on our side to try to block it and the neighbor pulls the truck wherever the boat isn’t. As well as revving the truck briefly to wake us up at 11-12 at night but so brief and random we can’t record it in time
I called the cops and got a run around one deputy tells me to report it every time the noise problem happens then that deputy got moved to another district and the last lead officer I spoke to gets mad and tells me not to call to give them time.
The police weren’t very helpful.
Between speaking to the first deputy and the final lead officer it took multiple calls just to get a response from anyone concerning the issue.
I had to talk to multiple Sergeants before getting the right one at the right shift. Apparently the issue occurred when shifts change.
The night shift lead officer starts by saying he had a short briefing but didn’t know the situation. Later in the conversation tells me it had been well documented and talked about by him and the leads so basically lied on a recorded call.
When I explain it’s a noise complaint like all of the calls have been, he tells me they would have to get equipment decibel readers to do anything.
The police aren’t taking him seriously.
Meanwhile they park multiple deputies in their interceptors, directly behind where the crazy neighbor parks, I assume to try to get the neighbor on harassment .
They watch him leave and insult my intelligence by claiming that they didn’t witness the truck doing anything wrong.
Because of course he’s gonna act the same with two deputies behind him… right?
Which has made the situation worse while also disregarding the fact that it’s equipment that’s technically illegal to drive on the road.
Another neighbor is also concerned.
I have the officer phone calls recorded as well as videos of the of the days/times that the truck had been started and left to run for 15+ minutes and some cases stoped and started multiple times. I also have ring recorded videos of the deputies parked directly behind where the crazy neighbor parks
After this I spoke with another neighbor who tells me that the crazy neighbor got mad at her and cussed her out while waving a weapon around but was scared to report because she was elderly and couldn’t record the interaction.
We have been really worried about what this neighbor would do in retaliation but it’s on going so I’m trying to stay private.

And I gotta believe that the cops can do something, ANYTHING, to help this guy out.
In the meantime, he’s gonna have to put up with this nonsense.
