Noisy neighbors can quickly turn a peaceful home into a stressful place.

In this story, a man has been struggling with neighbors who constantly play loud music that can be heard even when the windows are closed.

Despite trying to talk things out, the neighbors ignore him and even threaten to make the noise worse.

So now, he’s looking for creative ways to deal with the situation.

Check out the full details below.

Neighbours who play loud music (night and day)

.I am reaching out for inventive ideas on how to handle my neighbors.

They are playing loud music and simply do not care.

We can hear their songs and bass from our house, even with the windows closed, no matter the hour.

This man tried to raise the issue with their neighbors.

For context, it is a new neighborhood with new houses.

The law in our country stipulates that police should be called. They assess whether the music is truly disturbing or not. No objective measurements are noted in the law.

So far, we have only tried to discuss this with the said neighbors.

We have actively been trying not to have a rough start. We did not want to directly call the police.

The neighbors continued to blast their music.

Obviously, they do not care. They are even turning the volume up and down.

They alternate it every 20 minutes. I believe this is a way for them to avoid a proper noise assessment.

This would matter if police is called on them.

If the police assess their sound as disturbing, they will receive fines. There is nothing else that will happen.

Now, he’s looking for creative ways to deal with this situation moving forward.

I am looking for options or inventive ideas.

I want to know how people like this can be handled psychologically. I am quite sure some fines will not deter them.

They have already said that we should be thankful they have not been blasting music 24/7. And that they are “gonna show us what disturbing music looks like.”

Any ideas? Devices or psychological maneuvers? Anything that could help with this, please.

Yikes! What a pain to live next to those kind of neighbors!

It sounds like they are deliberately being difficult, even after attempts to resolve things calmly.

It’s frustrating when being reasonable doesn’t work.

However, I think escalating things creatively could backfire and lead to a bigger conflict.

If you were in his shoes, what would you do to stop this ridiculous act? Let’s see how others reacted.

Here’s a petty revenge idea.

Play opera or classical music, says this person.

Here’s a valid point.

Finally, this comment makes sense, too.

Living next to inconsiderate neighbors can test anyone’s patience.
