A Man’s Girlfriend Got Upset With Him Because She Doesn’t Like The Way He Makes Her Tea

I know that couples fight all the time about this and that, but have you ever gotten heated with your partner a out a beverage?
I sure havent’!
But I guess there’s a first time for everything…

AITA for being confused?
“I would just like to say that this is coming from a place of confusion and not wanting to cause problems.
Me and my significant other, we’ll call her Z, had an argument because Z was upset I didn’t make her tea right. I understand why she was upset and she’s completely valid but I don’t understand why it’s such a big deal.
This sounds like a healthy relationship!
She’s a diabetic who only drinks tea with milk, and she likes her tea rather strong. Today we had an argument because her tea was “too light” and not strong enough but to me it looked perfect?
I make it the same way I have since we met and she has never complained. She has shown me how I can make the tea stronger, and I do that but still it doesn’t seem to be right.
She asked me how I would feel if she didn’t make my coffee the way I like and I told her that it doesn’t matter how she makes it, I’ll still drink it because SHE made it for ME and it’s the thought that counts to me.
This whole thing sounds pretty dumb…just sayin’…
Now she’s upset with me because she feels as though I’m not understanding her point or care about her tea preference (even though that is NOT the case at all).
