With the amount of news regarding dogs and kids, I totally understand her concern. Being touchy about pets doesn’t look good on anyone.
I’d like to think I’m my partner’s best friend, but hey, maybe that’s old-fashioned of me.
The assumption that one person would continue carrying the financial burden without anyone stopping to consider their situation is also a red flag.
In my opinion, though, this whole thing is a bit too weird to be healthy.
One thing is for sure: his idea was awesome, and he sounds like a great stepdad.
She finally grew tired of ignoring her beliefs and preferences to cook for him when he is, let’s be honest here, perfectly capable of learning how to cook.
Her dad needs to put on his big boy pants and start acting like an adult!
Her husband definitely sounds controlling and demanding.
He should’ve asked her why she said they could park there.
