His mom should be helping him.

It’s a pretty reasonable response to feel upset about feeling invisible in your own house.
These kids were a handful, but the dad was the source of the problem.
This is a family who won’t understand just how good they had it until she’s gone.
The level of entitlement these parents have is unbelievable.
Even the most patient people have their limits.
There is simply no excuse for their behavior. She should cancel the trip immediately.
Abusers will always have reasons why you can’t leave, and none of them are good.
It’s hard to imagine a worse parent than this one.
That doesn’t mean cutting him off completely.
