They weren’t worried how the negative review would impact this company, and it ended up backfiring on them big time.
Who could blame them?

HR and management don’t want to deal with employees who are constantly complaining, so it is no surprise they fired them.
He seems to be overprotective of his niece, which is not very professional and won’t help her in the long run.
Just because you are friends with someone at work doesn’t mean they get any type of preferential treatment.
