“I have an aggressive neighbor that lives directly above me.
I’ve been taking videos of whenever he’s violating our “excessively loud and disturbing noise” clause for just in case.
I made a formal complaint yesterday as he was screaming, yelling, and stomping around during quiet hours, waking me and my fiancé up at 6 am.
This guy sounds unhinged…
He got his violation notice, and has now started screaming he’s wishing death on us, yelling profanities outside assuming we can hear his aggressive language.
He continued to deliberately take an object and slam it on his floor, making it impossible to hear myself.
He’s stuck in a really bad spot…
When I told my lease office about it, they can’t issue another violation issue this close to the previous one, but they implied that I should file a police report so that they can take the next steps.
My question is what kind of police report should I file?
I have multiple videos of his aggressive behavior that could be a noise complaint, but I feel this most recent incident could be a harassment issue.”
