Noisy neighbours. Help.
“I have lived in my house for over 5 years. I am in a terrace house so attached both sides.
I live in a 3 bedroom house.
What?!?!
One of the neighbours attached to my house have 7 children and 11 chihuahuas.
They are so loud, the dogs bark constantly which sets my dog off too. The children scream and shout at the top of their lungs. If they played, I wouldn’t complain about it.
Kids will be kids and they should be out playing but the children scream and shout so loud. Shouting and swearing, etc!

One of the children climbs up over the 6 foot fence, to shout my dog’s name or try to talk to us when we go into the garden. We decided to redo one of our gardens which the children and the dogs usually aren’t in.
But tonight, the mother has done up the garden. She is out shouting at the children, the children are running up and down the street screaming and shouting at the top of their lungs. Arguing and yelling. My dog is barking every time they open and close their gate.
I’m getting a headache just reading this…
The noise is unbearable!
Even with windows closed, all I hear is shouting and screaming. The parents also tend to play loud music which I think is to drown out the noise of house. You can hear the shouting and screaming through the walls as well.
What options do I have?
We are wanting to move once we save a bit more money but it is stressing us out now.
