I live in a 1970s semi detached house in the UK. From reading online, ’70s houses insulation and the general build is awful.

I live next door to a couple in their 30s and it’s only been happening the past few months.

But when they’re having “relations” ,we don’t hear noise coming from themselves but from what I think is the headboard banging against the wall which is vibrating through the wall from their bedroom in the back of the house which is an extension to the front of the house where our bedroom is.

Nothing is working…

I have tried White Noise but their banging woke me up this morning even with the white noise on!

It usually happens late at night or around 8 am in the morning.

I’m pregnant and I’m at my wits end. I don’t want know to do.

I would message them about it but my partner doesn’t seem to think that’s a good idea and we don’t have a good enough relationship with them to address it in person. Any advice?”
