I want you to picture someone bothering you and yelling at you every single time you step out of your house…
That doesn’t sound like a whole lot of fun, now does it?
You can say that again!
But some for folks, including the woman who wrote this story, this is her everyday reality.
And her neighbor sounds like he’s got more than a few screws loose.
Check out what she had to say about what she’s dealing with.
My neighbor won’t stop yelling at me.
“I have a neighbor from Hell and I don’t know what to do about it.
I think he’s mentally disabled, possibly with caretakers.
Yikes…
He stands outside alone all day and yells at me whenever I walk outside, or even when I walk in front of the door or window he can see from across the street.
I used to love keeping the door open for air flow but this guy doesn’t work and not stop yelling things like “hey!” and “hey girl!”
I ignore him and have for over a year since he moved in. Sometimes he gets very angry, which is happening more and more often.
She’s justifiably creeped out by his behavior.
I think he has caretakers but I’ve only seen someone get him from the street one time and I’ve seen him in the street a few times. I try not to think he’s coming to me, but I’m getting very disturbed by this guy.
There’s now a camera in front of my home and I adopted a large unfriendly dog from the shelter who’s taken to his guard dog role, but that hasn’t put my mind at ease like I hoped.
The yelling is constant, when I take my dog out early in the morning to when I get home from work at midnight, which can be terrifying if he’s hiding and I don’t see him.
She’s had enough of this.
I’m extremely stressed.
I want this man to leave me the hell alone.
I can’t get any peace on the property or even inside the home unless I’m locked up with the doors and windows and curtains closed, feels like a prison for me.
I wish this guy would get hit by car so I can be relieved of my stress.
I’m in a lot of distress from this neighbor and I just need to vent.”
