This story is kind of sad…

But whatever doesn’t kill us only makes us stronger, right?

Yes!

And the guy at the center of this story learned some very valuable lessons…

Check out what went down and how they got even with a nasty landlord.

Be nice to your tenants.

“This happened to my husband.

My husband was raised Amish.

He left that community in his early 20s and was greeted by many harsh realities of “the real world.”

He did not know his rights or how to stand up for himself.

Poor guy…

He was renting a house without fully understanding how rent worked – specifically he didn’t know it’s understood to be due on the 1st of the month unless stated otherwise.

He ended up needing a one week grace period, but instead the landlord flipped his **** and kicked him out.

My husband was mad so he reported the house to The Housing Authority for water damage in the upstairs ceiling.

Specifically he cited black mold.

Revenge!

The Housing Authority condemned the residence until repairs could be done.

The landlord couldn’t afford it and had to sell the house.”

This landlord was not a good guy…

But most people do have to pay rent when its due.
