Her mom sounds like a bad babysitter.

She needs to put her own safety and security first.
They need to get on the same page about their financial priorities.
They need to protect their family.
What an awful thing for a parent to do!
Let this be a lesson: never invite friends to your place of work.
She’s going to have to accept it.
They need to learn this is unacceptable for it to actually stop.
Her ‘friend’ wasn’t actually interested.
Dad’s going to have to learn to take care of himself.
