I even spent my birthday that year basically alone since my friend group had crumbled so quickly.
Friendship really is one of the best things life has to offer.
This is not a good idea.
Everyone wins in this scenario!
You just don’t mess with other people’s stuff, plain and simple.
I told her early on, really politely, that I love her and I’m so excited for her, but I wouldn’t be able to make it.
Just because they’re friends, it doesn’t mean she’ll suddenly change her taste in books.
They were both in the wrong.
Friendship is about mutual respect!
