Some rules were meant to be broken.

His supervisor clearly didn’t understand the consequences.
Maybe the supervisor wasn’t really wrong.
Surely, there’s a middle ground.
What’s best for the boss isn’t always what’s best for the employees.
Time is money.
Extra work without extra pay? No, thanks.
Every rule needs at least one exception.
Going above and beyond isn’t always helpful.
When the supervisor said there wouldn’t be any exceptions, he meant it!
