This definitely sounds like a frustrating vacation.
The landlord definitely didn’t think through the consequences.
Lying is not a good way to gain a potential customer’s trust.
At least they got the answers they were looking for.
The problem is clearly the building construction.
The customer wasted his money, but he can only blame himself.
