Young Employee Was Excited To Start Their First Full Time Job, But The Reality Of The Position Was Very Different Then What They’d Imagined

If they really needed the favor, it’s time to grow up and ask for real.
It may not be permanent.
Sometimes standing your ground means standing alone.
Support should speak louder than stigma.
You can’t pour from an empty cup.
At this point, going to HR is the most responsible thing to do.
Sometimes self-care means standing your ground, even when it’s hard.
Lowering the pressure on ourselves and others is helpful at any time of year.
But it’s her life and her decision, and they should respect that.
