Is it worth it proving how much of an adult you are by refusing help in this economy? Maybe the mature thing to do is to accept help when you need it.
Imagine being mad because someone is at their own window inside their own home, but it happens to face your garden.
They should just take the L and learn from it.
Also, being offended doesn’t automatically give someone the right to harass others.
But of course, not everyone who’s concerned about neighborhood rules is looking for popularity (clearly), and surveillance can come from all sorts of motivations.
Maybe both have good intentions and just need to communicate better.
