At the end of the day, taking things personally is usually a waste of time.
She clearly learned from the situation, so that’s good.
Her qualities deserve to be appreciated even if they’re not loud.
To be fair, her mom sounds tired and sensitive. I truly think sitting down and talking could help, if her mom is willing to listen.
Even if they were upset for a very good reason, leaving her at a gas station is just bad person behavior.
