She Got Free Shipping, But She Still Called To Complain That It Wasn’t Free Enough
If she thinks something isn’t free enough, does it mean she wanted them to pay her for her purchase?

They all need to start talking like adults ASAP or just allow themselves to grow apart.
Feeling like you can’t do anything right builds up until you don’t even want to try anymore, so it’s good for them to stand up for themselves.
Now she can either apologize or keep doubling down until they are no longer comfortable visiting each other or even talking.
But in this economy?
She just wants to feel good on her birthday for once.
I think the best next step would be for the affected residents to work together rather than continuing to approach the neighbor individually.
Imagine throwing hands because of something like rearranged icons.
I definitely think she should warn the new neighbors as soon as possible, though.
In my point of view, none of them were paying attention or listening to the couple, or perhaps, as someone commented, they were doing this intentionally.
