She should leave it up to her daughter.
There’s nothing wrong with seeing them.
This man is a cheat, a liar, and wholly inconsiderate towards his family.
He shouldn’t have given his daughter hope if he was going to dash it once again.

Not being “allowed” to make a sandwich in your own home is weird, to say the least.
He is definitely the one being unreasonable.
If something matters to your kid, you do it regardless of what the logic says!
