Her coworkers can keep their group hugs, as long as she gets to keep her self-respect.
She opened a door she might not be able to easily close.
If her coworker wanted kindness, she should’ve tried offering some back.
And if a grown adult can’t handle eating alone, then there are much bigger problems at hand.
If his coworkers want to judge him for having boundaries, that’s on them, not him.
Just because her coworker lacks boundaries doesn’t mean she has to follow suit.
Parking will never be a group decision again.
She’s not being rude, just reasonable.
