I told them that all of their partners were amazing to soften the situation but I don’t think it helped.
I totally blew up at that point, saying that they “forgot” their own daughter because their niece wanted an ice cream?!
Some friends just aren’t worth it once you have to deal with their significant other.

I definitely think she has a reason to be upset.
This is definitely a “her” problem.
