Arguing during the hike would make it (even more) miserable for both of them.
She mom can’t force her to hang out with her step-dad’s family.
Her mom shouldn’t have said she didn’t want to go if she really wanted to go.
It’s unfortunate, but her friends shouldn’t have to pay extra.
This was definitely a unique travel experience!
