Picture of the Day: Just a Pygmy Falcon

Seen here is an adorable looking pygmy falcon, or African pygmy falcon (Polihierax semitorquatus). The tiny bird lives in eastern and southern Africa and is the smallest raptor on the continent. Pygmy Falcons grow to only 19 or 20 cm long and prey on insects, small reptiles and small mammals. [source]
