Getting into mom/tattletale mode backfired.
They got a much needed reality check.
There is no excuse for his behavior.
His mom needs to reassess how she handles family issues.
Hopefully, this will strengthen their friendship, eventually.
She has the right to improve her skills, especially in a dangerous sport.
Who needs an enemy with a roommate like this?
Nobody should feel obliged to “lend” an irresponsible person their money.
But regardless of this information, she has no business behaving this way in someone else’s apartment.
