The real problem is that the landlord lied.

She is not asking too much.
That neighbor definitely sounds like trouble.
The neighbor is way too nosy for his own good.
His idea was pretty terrible.
It seriously might be time to think about moving.
Communicating clearly is better than resorting to sarcasm.
His neighbors are awful, and he needs to stop letting it go.
Moving away would probably be the best option.
His behavior does sound pretty unhinged.
