I put my foot down and told him that I didn’t even want to be there at that point so either I was leaving, or we all were.

I hope she apologizes to her daughter.
I do not think this young lady is wrong to feel hurt.
Hold your ground when someone owes you something, but lead with facts.
Remember that there are people out there who care about your feelings
They’re probably just worried about her.
