It’s hard to keep giving when it starts to feel like you’re being taken advantage of.
The weight she’s carrying is far too heavy for any teenager.
She can’t alter reality just because she wants to.
This type of ‘hands-off’ parenting only hurts the kids.
If the family had been kinder, none of this would have happened!
It sounds like she went above and beyond FOR YEARS.
She doesn’t have to go everywhere he goes, but he needs to consider her feelings.
She wanted to be a part of her sister’s journey, just not at the expense of her own.
In trying to stifle his own emotions, he ended up shutting out something important.
About 2 years ago, my sister took her ring off on a plane to apply moisturizer to her eczema and I’m not sure exactly what happened but she lost it. I think she forgot she had taken it off and she never put it back on.
