There are lots of other wedding dresses out there.
Her future sister-in-law can find a different dress to wear.
When a “simple request” turns into a family feud!
Hopefully the parents back off.
She doesn’t deserve the dress, or the friend.
Given the circumstances, that was an absurd request.
