He gets itchy eyes, sneezing fits and sometimes has trouble breathing. We’ve tried allergy meds and keeping Max out of the bedroom, but it’s still been hard on him.
I don’t know, maybe I could’ve been gentler about it. But I’m just tired of being her backup plan.
She begged to crash at my place, and I said yes because… she’s my sister.
I pointed it out to my partner and said I was going to pull him aside privately, compliment his coat, and tell him he still had the tag on. She said no, that would be offensive and could make him self conscious.

Here’s hoping that one way or another, her next experience with a teacher goes better.
Consistent improvement is the way to go, even if that’s relatively slow.
