It’s really too bad his family doesn’t appreciate his effort.
It seems reasonable to ask the aunt to replace what she threw away.
At this point they should just apologize.
Being late all the time really is rude and disrespectful.
Looks like Dad thought tough love meant letting his son sweat it out—literally.
