I told them that all of their partners were amazing to soften the situation but I don’t think it helped.
I totally blew up at that point, saying that they “forgot” their own daughter because their niece wanted an ice cream?!
Some friends just aren’t worth it once you have to deal with their significant other.
“The supervisor reminded her she had refused previously.”
“I think a lot of it is just jealousy which I can understand.”
I definitely think she has a reason to be upset.
This is definitely a “her” problem.
This guy has some serious issues…
Trust your gut and your boundaries.
