Sounds like both of these guys need to grow up.
None of this is normal.
She should make sure everyone knows what’s going on, including her neighbor’s family.
The balance between empathy and self-preservation isn’t easy.
I don’t think she’s wrong to not want this guy in her house!
The section head saw that I had it and asked if she could borrow it for a bit, and I didn’t want to but she was overheating so I said yes.
