Everything about working there sounds stressful.

They really need to get his caretakers involved.
This is such a shady thing to do.
There is no reason not to report this to the landlord and animal control.
At least the manager seemed to understand.
The cashier works with that register every day.
The cashier deserves a medal.
Just because they asked doesn’t mean you have to give a detailed answer.
Too many people stay quiet.
