Kindness deserves respect, not ridicule.
He wasn’t about to even open that gift!
Appreciation means more when it comes from genuine effort, not guilt.
You never know what you’re gonna get.
She’s totally out of line.
I was annoyed and clarified to everyone how she actually got the gift – that I picked it out and paid for half of it. His girlfriend got quiet and didn’t say much.
You can’t expect to get something if you’ve hurt the people who care for you.
Talk about a bad gift!
One of these friends certainly prioritizes gifts a lot more than the other!
